This setup is part of a long term project which aims to implement science and technology to better agriculture especially in big cities, where farmland is scarce, the use of indoor gardening makes more sense in that situation, as it allows the farmer to precisely control their environment, make use of vertical stacked levels and deliver fresh produce at record times. An Arduino-nano was used to monitor the light, temperature, humidity, air circulation, PH and Carbon Dioxide.
The project is missing a key component which is water control, which is not as simple as adding a water pump, precise control of PH and nutrients is required and varies with crop type.
