StepSense is a prototype medical device developed by my group at the University of Surrey. It is a crutch fitted with various IOT sensors, namely heartbeat, gyro and pressure gauge along with some network interfaces. It enables healthcare professionals to monitor their patience movement throughout their recovery process. We presented the prototype in front of the Dragon's Den Panel in 2020 and received 2nd place.
